We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Congressman Steve Cohen and Mayor AC Wharton will be at the Shelby County Democratic Party Headquarters for a Get Out The Vote Rally! The SCDP Headquarters are located at 4118 South Plaza Drive in Memphis, Tennessee. Early voting begins on October 13, 2010.
On Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 11:30-1:00 p.m., Democratic Political Strategist Donna Brazile will join SCDP volunteers for a brief talk and rally for early voting. Ms. Brazile is a university professor, author and columnist. She is also a well known contributor to CNN and ABC, and she also serves as Vice-Chair of Voter Registration and Participation for the Democratic National Committee.
Both of these events are free and open to the public.
