And They're Off!

If you haven't gotten over the 2008 election well you are just out of luck because the 2012 Presidential Campaign is already in full gear.

If you listen closely to President-elect Obama you will catch phases like, "In my first term." and "In the first four years..." Also his money raising machine is in full gear. Not a week goes by that I don't get an email requesting a donation. "Hey I already sent you guys my money, didn't we win?"

Hillary Clinton had to make a big decision - did she want to continue her campaign to be president or give up that dream. After looking at Obama's war chest of money, and coming to accept that this man was more than a match for her she did the smart thing and decided to make her mark as Secretary of State.

Sara Palin (bless her heart) is giving interviews and stomping for other candidates - It doesn't hurt to have friends. She'll need those friends especially since campaign workings for McCain are still spilling the beans on how incompetent and a drama queen she was during the campaign. You can bet 2008 Republican candidates Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee are in the wings trying to find ways to send Palin on a permanent one-way trip back to Alaska.

Then there's Florida Governor Jeb Bush - rumors are that he is considering a run for the Senate to replace the retiring Mel Martinez. Could we be looking at an Obama vs. Bush in 2012. My dear friends if I had to put my money on a possible race that would be it. Everyone always thought Jeb should have followed his father to the White House and not George. Jeb is smart, methodical and a solid conservative.

Well it's only four years away, we'll soon find out. I will start putting out the yard signs.

Yea Jeb Bush had his hand in the stealing of the Whitehouse from Al Gore. The Bushs got the money to run. We don't need another one in office.

I'm with you 3:14. This should be the last member of the Bush family to ever take the White House.

Let him run in 2012 so Obama can kick his butt.

Why would anyone want to be president???
Do you see how old they look after 4-years?
You are at the mercy of fate. Look at the financial crisis or the war, Bush didn't want that and with all his power what could he do? Nothing. Give me my 9 to 5 any day.

Palin is still out there trying to get noticed. Somebody needs to tell that women she can't run for Vice President next year.
