Missed Opportunity

Last night you and I were part of history. Support Senator Obama or not there must be a part of each of us that is humbled by the endless potential of this Nation. When our Founding Fathers were forging this idea for a country, little could they have imagined what they were creating. It would grow beyond their fears, their weaknesses, and even their expectations. Last night we witnessed not the greatness of an individual or a political party, but the enduring greatness of America.

The problem was that Senator Clinton did not see that. She was so blinded by her own disappointment in failing to achieve her dream that only bitterness could be found in her words. For this, she herself exemplified the serendipitous nature of this Nation as it thumbs its nose at those who falsely attempt to substitute entitlement with democracy. For Clinton if there was a deserving moment for recognition it passed her that night. For all her achievements, and there has been much, she in one moment forever stained it with the sap from the fruit of envy.

For those of you who supported Hillary Clinton, I understand. But what is important now is that our party move forward. Hillary can still play an important role in this movement, but not with threats of taking her toys and going home. She must overcome her disappointment and direct ALL her energy to insuring that the reign of George W. Bush has finally come to an end.

What do you think?

Mr. Milton the press did Hillary wrong. They just kept making fun of her. That's why she is mad. The press needs to be fair and let the voters pick who they want to be the president. The press picked Obama and then turned on Hillary. She has worked for this country for years and would have made a good president.

This is my suggestion for Hillary Clinton's new theme song.

"I seeee you're trueeee colors shining through."

I'm not mad I'm pissed. She woun't let it obama night. You could see the hate in her face. I never trusted the clinton's and now look at her. All she want is to be President and nobody else.

Hillary would have made a good president if she had been selected. No doubt about that, because she would have had to perform up to her committment. But, Obama was chosen. Sad that the Democrat "PARTY" does not want him. The people said yes, but the powers that be are still saying not. The Republicans are better than that. I wish Obama had been a Republican. His ideas are going to change now.

There is no way Senator Obama can pick Clinton as his Vice President without looking like he was forced to do it. When you said this was a missed opportunity you were right. If she had gone out there and praised Senator Obama and let that be HIS night she may have still been in the running for VP. Not now.

Hillary Clinton is being unfairly treated by the media and many Obama supporters. I supported Hillary, but all along knew that voting Democrat would be my only choice in November.

Obama supporters have been rude and unkind to former Hillary supporters, instead of trying to win us over, they did alienate many of us to the point of not wanting to actively work on the campaign, although we will vote for the candidate. Many feel the same way, others plan to stay home and not vote.

Obama supporters, straighten up,change your tactics and stop bashing top Democrats! You are continuing to discredit those whose support we need for a win in November.

That just makes the Republicans happy and boosts their chance of winning.
