Half the people in the world TRY to live off of $2.00 a day. That is over 3 Billion people. We have nothing to complain about.

It makes me stop and think how petty most of my problems are. I may not have a lot of money. I may own a house note, car note, credit card bills, tuition for my kids, and on and on, but I have a house, I have a car, I can take my wife out to dinner, I can send my kids to a good school.

I guess it all depends on how you look at it. Either you are a glass half empty or half full kind of person.

Don't forget your health. We all take that for granted.

If you have food in the refrigerator,
If you have clothes in the closet,
If you have a bed to sleep in,
If you have a roof over your head,

YOU are richer than 75% of the ENTIRE world population.

The problem is we gage our success by our surrounding. You've got it good people stop crying and thank God for your blessings.

It does feel different. It seems the holidays are less about - Good will to mankind, but more about getting in line first, making it to the store to buy this or buy that. Having better decorations than the neighbor. We have become selfish and materialistic.
