Holiday Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Schedule
For GOOD FRIDAY (Apr. 2) and MLK, JR. MEMORIAL (Apr. 5)

GOOD FRIDAY
(Friday, April 2, 2010)
Memphis residents serviced by City of Memphis Solid Waste Management collection crews with Friday collections will receive garbage and recycling collection on THURSDAY, April 1st. Excess trash and yard debris collection will be limited while we utilize all crews to service Thursday and Friday garbage carts and recycling bins.
Residents of east Memphis serviced by City contractor, All Star Waste Systems, will receive garbage and recycling collection on Friday; however, there will be little or no collection of excess trash and yard debris on Friday, since City crews will be observing the Good Friday holiday.

MLK JR. MEMORIAL
(Monday, April 5, 2010)
Memphis residents serviced by City of Memphis Solid Waste Management collection crews with Monday collections will receive garbage and recycling collection on TUESDAY, April 6th. Excess trash and yard debris collection will be limited while we utilize all crews to service Monday and Tuesday garbage carts and recycling bins.
Residents of east Memphis serviced by City contractor, All Star Waste Systems, will receive garbage and recycling collection on Monday; however, there will little or no collection of excess trash and yard debris on Monday since City crews will be observing the MLK Jr. Memorial.
