This is the greatest day of my life. I am 54 years old and a black president never crossed my mind. To me this was not possible. It is my first time being truly proud being an American.
President Obama will lead this nation out of this war and poverty. This is a new day.

I arrived at the Peabody election party just as Obama was about to give his victory speech. Sharing that with so many people was a very moving experience.
Yes we did elect the most qualifed person for the job...that it also made history is just proof that America is moving forward.
